How to clear your mind to let creativity flow
On December 30th, I woke up in a bad mood, questioning why. I have everything I need—money, a warm bed, food, and family. What hit me was the pressure from society: "Work harder, why aren't you successful yet?" This thought took hold like a virus in my mind. I realized there’s a filter in how I see the world, shaped by constant content consumption.
Just as we process food, our brains process what we take in. Some content is easy to digest, while others are difficult and can cause mental blockages. Once our bodies finish digesting food and sending nutrients where needed, they get rid of waste. I believe our brains do something similar with the content we consume.
I've heard about journaling for years but always thought it didn't work for me until recently. I realized I wasn't being honest when writing. I wrote my feelings but avoided the deeper truths that were hard to confront. I often blamed my issues on the outside world instead of taking responsibility.
Seeing my true thoughts on paper was liberating. It made me feel lighter, less angry, and inspired to create. After this realization, I felt motivated to write more, engage in meaningful conversations, and make business calls I had previously avoided. It elevated my state of mind. If this strikes a chord with you, let me know.
